ENACT programs include in-school and after-school student programs, parent and family workshops,
professional staff development, and auditorium performances. Its teaching artists (professional actors) and support staff (drama therapists, social worker) use their expertise in acting and drama therapy techniques to create safe spaces for personal development and growth in the classrooms. Its programs teach skills such as active listening, self-awareness, non-confrontational communications, conflict resolution, self-motivation, and problem solving, as well as build self-esteem and self-confidence in students.
ENACT has worked as a pioneer organization teaching social and emotional skills and behavior change through creative drama since 1987. ENACT’s programs use basic techniques of creative drama and drama therapy to help participants identify healthier options for expressing their feelings and opinions in a positive way.
