Dancing Classrooms is a 20 lesson/ten week/two day a week Ballroom Dance residency integrated into the school day of upper elementary, middle and high school students. In its residencies, students will learn the: Merengue, Foxtrot, Rumba, Tango, Swing, Waltz, Stomp, Heel-Toe Polka and Line Dances. The organization also offer professional development and parent engagement workshops.

Dancing Classrooms was launched in 1994 by world-renowned ballroom dancers Pierre Dulaine and Yvonne Marceau.  The program is a not-for-profit project of the American Ballroom Theater Company, designed to bring social awareness, confidence and self esteem to children through social dancing.
