Aileen’s Music Tree’s ‘Save the Earth’ assembly program focus students to learn how and what to recycle. Students will achieve a sense for self worth and achievement for what they are doing for the community as well as for our future on this planet.
Aileen’s Music Tree produces it’s ‘Save the Earth’ assembly outreach program at schools involving students and alumni volunteers from the Department of Education.
Aileen is a retired special education teacher, who worked with other teachers and students performing this program that includes a play, musical performance and Q & A session. She has won the Chancellor’s Teachers honor Roll for creating outstanding student music programs in 1993 and the Very Special Arts Mayor’s Award in 1993 & 1995.
Her staff professional development workshops coordinate with her assemblies.

Through the production of “Save the Earth” assembly program, students will learn how and what to recycle, increase their literacy through reading song sheets and know alternative ways of communicating such as sign language and picture symbols. Students will achieve a sense for self worth and achievement for what they are doing for the community as well as for our future on this planet!
The workshops utilizes hands on activities. Lesson plans will be provided that are teacher and student friendly and are easy to implement in all academic areas and can be adapted to all functioning levels. Each workshop will be specifically designed to your the audience population or functioning level.
